Biographical Note for WOULFF BOTTLE

Woulfe, Peter (1727–1803), British chemist. The Woulff bottle had been known to chemists before Woulfe's time, but the association of the bottle with Woulfe apparently derives from his use of a vessel with two outlets in a series of experiments described in 1767.
